18. Documents produced during a hearing of the committee on discipline are confidential. They may not be removed from the record before the expiry of the appeal period or before a decision by the appeals committee, except with the written consent of the parties. Documents that are not retrieved by the parties are destroyed 1 year after the date of the final decision in the matter.
